WHY YOU MIGHT NOT LIKE THIS JOB
- Midwest weather can be intense. Summers are hot and humid, and winters are cold and snowy. We work in all kinds of weather because pets still need care. Of course, we limit outdoor time when it’s not safe for the animals.
- This is a hands-on job. You might end your shift with some dog hair, slobber, or paw prints on your clothes. Cleaning up after pets, including scooping cat litter boxes and picking up poop, is part of the work.
- You’ll need a reliable personal vehicle. This job involves driving to clients’ homes.
